She started her career in Public Accounting at one of the big four firms, experienced a traditional Controller role at an oilfield services company, and directed an Internal Audit function at a financial services company prior to her journey as an entrepreneur. Jo is now the President and Founder of Audit. Consulting. Education. LLC – a firm that is registered with the NASBA as a sponsor of continuing professional education (CPE), and delivering CPE training to professionals Jo’s biggest honor in 2019 was receiving a “Woman to Watch” Leader of Note award by the Colorado Society of CPAs (COCPA) in conjunction with the AICPA for her work in the Accounting/Auditing profession, as well as her community support efforts and mentorship of others to achieve their personal and professional goals.
