Dr David Curnow in a virtual presentation on “The Psychology of Embezzlement”
The model proposed by Dr Curnow is broken into four phases which define the theft from the organisation’s perspective: recruitment, from induction to the first theft, ongoing theft to detection and resolution. Each phase requires the offender and the organisation to make certain decision as the theft evolves. The session will conclude with a brief example of how this model could be applied to an organization’s security program.

Trust is an integral element of all business relationships. Like it or not, third parties hold the key to your reputation and success. A contract is simply a promise written on a piece of paper. But its true worth lies not in legality but in the relationship of trust within which it was signed. We will use our industry experience to guide you through the common pitfalls and success factors of embedding a governance and monitoring framework for joint ventures, contractors and suppliers.
Join us afterwards for light refreshment at the Trustee Bar, Brookfield Place for fellowship and networking.
